We are moving on for small group instruction. For 6th grade, we will be piggy backing off what students have just learned, percents. For 7th grade, we will be working on proportions and scaled drawings. And for 8th grade, we will be going back to algebraic equations, starting with one-step. Here are the assigned IXL's that will complement small group instruction.
6th- S.1 Convert between percents, fractions, and decimals S.4 Percents of numbers and money amounts S.5 Percents of numbers: word problems 7th- J.2 Identify equivalent ratios J.3 Write an equivalent ratio J.4 Equivalent ratios: word problems 8th- W.1 Which x satisfies an equation? W.6 Solve one-step equations IXL's that were DUE on Friday, January 26th. Students worked on these IXL's for 2 weeks in small group and individually. If they have not yet finished them, they may do so at home. If they complete them at home, it is their responsibility to let me know they finished them. 6th Grade- H.2Multiply decimals H.4Divide decimals by whole numbers 8th Grade- Y.7Write a linear equation from a slope and y-intercept Y.8Write a linear equation from a graph Y.9Write a linear equation from a slope and a point
